Ahead of the world premiere of C. M. Bellman’s singspiel The Temple of Bacchus (Bacchi tempel) on Sweden’s National Day, EMS invites you to an inspiring panel discussion on this, his work from 1783. The latest musicological insights into the work will be presented by the internationally renowned Bellman scholar James Massengale, while Jennie Nell, Chair of the Bellman Society, will explore the piece from cultural and literary perspectives.
